This painting was live painted by local PDX creative Roxanne Castaño in her neighborhood of Old Town Chinatown in 2023.   The painting depicts the Hawthorne Bridge with classic horror movie monsters engaging in typical PNW waterfront activities, blending local cityscape with horror-inspired imagery. 

It began as a heartfelt gift celebrating a friend’s move into stable housing and references personal memories tied to watching scary movies.
